Anodyne Chiropractic and Sports Therapy was established by Dr Mark P. Timmins in Grande Prairie in 2001, and is a partnership between Dr. Mark P. Timmins, Dr. Kenzo Takeuchi, and Dr. Darcy Krawec. The clinic has grown to become a multidisciplinary practice of chiropractic, massage therapy, and Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to serve the needs of Grande Prairie and the greater Peace Region. Patients come from as far away as Yellowknife, NWT; Fort Nelson, BC; Hinton, Whitecourt and Fort McMurray, AB, Saskatchewan, the Yukon; and all points in between.

Our Team
Anodyne Chiropractic and Sports Therapy was established in Grande Prairie by Dr. Timmins in 2001. Dr. Timmins is a chiropractor, a certified Graston Technique provider and Active Release Techniques® provider, certified in spine, nerve entrapment, upper and lower extremity protocols. Dr. Timmins enjoys living in Grande Prairie with his family, watching his kids sporting activities, playing squash and golf.
Dr. K. Takeuchi graduated from the University of Calgary in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biological Sciences, and then furthered his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he received a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2005. In addition to being a Diversified Chiropractor, he is a certified Graston Technique® provider, an Active Release Techniques® provider, and an ART® Ironman Performance Care Provider certified in spine, upper and lower extremity protocols. Dr. K. Takeuchi is also a Level 1 Kinesiotape provider. Dr. K. Takeuchi has been practicing in Grande Prairie since 2006, and enjoys life here with his wife Michelle and their three sons. He is fluent in both English and Japanese. His interests include hiking, mountain biking, downhill and cross country skiing.
Dr. Krawec graduated from Palmer College in Davenport Iowa, with a doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Krawec is Active Release Techniques® provider, certified in spine, upper and lower extremity protocols, as well as a Graston Technique® provider. His interests include making time for the gym, golfing, travelling and The Oilers.
Dr. Michelle Takeuchi graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005. She is a certified Graston Technique® and Active Release Techniques® provider, certified in spine, upper and lower extremity protocols. Dr. M. Takeuchi has been practicing at Anodyne Chiropractic and Sports Therapy since 2006. She is proficient in both French and English. She is originally from Northern Ontario but is proud to call Grande Prairie her home. Her personal interests include walking, swimming, downhill skiing and volleyball.
Jessica Everton is a graduate of the 2200 hour Massage Therapy Program at Grant MacEwan University, Edmonton AB, and is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada Association. Jessica is trained in a number of massage techniques including Swedish massage, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, pregnancy massage and PNF stretching. She enjoys running, being outside, training horses, and baking.
Shawna Evans is a Registered Massage Therapist and is a graduate of the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program at Grant MacEwan University. She is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta and has been practicing massage therapy since 2001. She specializes in therapeutic massage therapy and has taken courses to expand her scope of deep tissue therapy. She is a mother of three and enjoys spending time with her girls. She enjoys volleyball, walking, hiking, and visiting with friends.
Victoria graduated from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Since graduating, she has continued to add on to her education. She is a Rock Tape Advanced Taping provider, and has taken a course in Myofascial Release for Self Care. She has also completed Level 1 training with Shift Concussion Management which has educated her in basic assessment for concussion and given her lots of knowledge to pass on to clients. She plans to continue her education in concussion management to continue helping clients manage concussions.
She loves to spend her personal time with her husband and children quadding in the dunes, walking, and swimming.
